Relax and enjoy the stunning views or sit by the pond and enjoy the wildlife. 

Moorlands Cottage is in the beautiful, peaceful North York Moors village of Levisham, within the North York Moors National Park. The cottage is within the owners’ 3½ acres of mature gardens, with a pond and woodland and it is decorated, furnished and equipped to a high standard. There is a lovely summerhouse in the garden for you to relax in, with sofas, hi-fi and a kettle. Levisham is an ideal location for walkers and cyclists with paths and bridleways straight from the front gate to Newton Dale, Cropton, Dalby Forest and the stunning North York Moors, (stables available). Levisham has a station with wonderful steam trains running through ‘Heartbeat Country’ and on to Whitby. Pickering is only 6 miles away for everyday shopping, there is a village shop 1½ miles away and the village pub, 500yds, serves excellent meals and snacks.

Accommodation
Ground floor: entrance hall, sitting/dining room with wood-burning stove set in an attractive tiled surround, beamed ceiling with splendid views from the full-length picture window over the gardens and valley below. Well equipped kitchen. 1 double bedroom with king-sized bed. Bathroom with 3 piece suite and shower over bath.

We have stabling facilities for those wishing to bring their horses with them as the area has some beautiful bridleways with lovely scenery.

The traditional fishing town of Whitby, Scarborough, Castle Howard and the historic city of York are within easy travelling distance and for those seeking the peace and tranquillity of the countryside then this is literally on 5* Moorlands Country House doorstep.
